Broad Careers is run by Syster, a small business based in Victoria, Australia (“we” or “us”). By using the site, as a guest or with an account, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Broad Careers is a coaching conversation that builds a picture of what you're good at and the conditions you work best in, and matches you to jobs that fit. It is currently free to use.

• It's guidance, not advice. The coach is not a qualified careers counsellor, financial adviser, lawyer or health professional, and nothing it says should be treated as professional advice.
• AI can get things wrong. The coach is powered by AI. Check what it concludes about you, and correct anything that doesn't sound right.
• Matches are suggestions. We don't promise that any role is right for you or that you'll get it.
• Job listings come from others. Many roles come from employers and job boards we don't control. We can't guarantee a listing is accurate or still open. When a role links to an employer's own site, their terms apply there.

• Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself.
• A guest session lives in your browser. If you clear it before creating an account, the conversation can't be recovered.
• Broad Careers is for people aged 16 and over.
• Employer accounts are set up by us, so job seekers can trust that the employers they see are genuine.

Please don't:

• try to get into other people's information, or around our security or daily limits;
• copy, scrape or bulk download content from the site, or use it to build a competing product;
• try to work out how the coach, the skills framework or the matching work by probing them in bulk, or copy them;
• upload anything you don't have the right to share, or other people's personal information;
• use it for anything unlawful, abusive or misleading.

The coach has daily limits so it stays available for everyone. We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

What you write and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it and use it to run Broad Careers for you, as described in the privacy policy. That permission ends when you delete your account.

The site, the coach, the skills framework, the matching method and the talent report format belong to us.

Roles you post must be real, lawful and open, and must not discriminate unlawfully. You may only use applicants' information to consider them for the role they applied for.

We're a small business and Broad Careers is still growing. We may change, pause or stop parts of it, and we'll give notice on the site where we reasonably can. If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top.

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. Within those limits, we're not responsible for decisions you make based on the coach or your matches, for job listings published by others, or for indirect loss such as lost income or opportunity.

You can stop using Broad Careers and delete your account at any time from your profile page.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
